Fall Oracle Reading: Harvest, Release, and Step Into the Season

Fall approaches. The morning air has turned crisp, and I’ve needed an extra layer when I head out to the garden for the morning rounds.

The equinox invites balance: equal day, equal night.
Harvest what’s ready. Release what’s done.
Step into the new season.

I pulled an intuitive oracle reading to welcome this shift. It offers insight into what this season is asking of you and where to focus your energy next.

Mama Quilla, Mandala of the Moon

My mandala is the sacred portal through which your dreams, intentions and visions shall pass into the wholeness of being, from the realm of inspiration into the world of form on earth.

This Mother Moon energy reminds us that our desires are sacred and, "there are cycles of creation that must be honored. She reminds you to trust in the sacred feminine wisdom expressed in the idea that it is darkest before the dawn."

In my meditations, my spirit guides often tell me that autumn carries the energy of sitting down at the end of a long day well-lived.

The energy of this season supports asking yourself, "What am I ready to harvest?" and "What am I ready to cut out?"

For some of us that might mean we've spent long enough studying, and practicing, and tinkering, and it's time to take the next step of becoming more public with what we've been working on. It's time to harvest the energy we've devoted to a craft.

Maybe it's time to cut out a habit that is limiting the scope of your life.

For me, I'll need to reflect on what I'm ready to harvest. I can already feel fear and anxiety starting to buzz in my body, just imagining what that might be, so that will need some compassionate tending.

As for what I'm ready to cut out, I'm starting to cut out added sugar from my diet and limiting natural sugars, to help steady my energy level and focus/flow state. Temporarily. We'll see how this goes. ;)

I'm also doing this to support my mom who is embarking on a therapeutic keto diet to support her healing from cancer.

What about you? I would love to hear what you're ready to harvest and release.

And even if you don’t want to share with me, please set aside some intentional time to reflect on this in your journal. Writing things down engages more of our senses and can help make things more real.
